Laser Varicose Veins Training

Laser Varicose Veins Training in Ahmedabad

Endovenous Laser Ablation (EVLA): A Modern Solution for Varicose Veins, EVLA is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat varicose veins. It delivers controlled laser energy directly inside the affected vein. This method seals off the damaged vein, reduces symptoms, and restores healthy blood flow.

Which Veins Are Treated?

  • Great Saphenous Vein (GSV)
  • Small Saphenous Vein (SSV)
  • Anterior Accessory Saphenous Vein (AASV) and other tributaries
  • The treatment results in minimal recurrence and long-lasting benefits.

Why Choose Laser for Varicose Veins:

Varicose veins are common among people of all ages. Traditional surgery often involves pain, longer recovery times, and visible scars. Laser therapy offers a quick, scar-free, and low-pain alternative. It is now a popular choice for patients who seek a better solution. If you want to help your patients lead a more comfortable and confident life, consider laser surgery with EVLA.

What You’ll Learn in EVLA Training:

The EVLA procedure uses a laser radial fiber that is inserted directly into the diseased vein. Here's an overview of the step-by-step process:

  1. Local anaesthesia is applied to numb the area.
  2. A needle is inserted, followed by a guide wire up the vein.
  3. A catheter (thin tube) is slid over the wire into the saphenous vein.
  4. A laser fiber is advanced through the catheter to the treatment point, which is typically near the groin.
  5. Tumescent anaesthesia is injected along the vein to protect surrounding tissues.
  6. The laser is activated while slowly withdrawing the fiber, heating the vein evenly to collapse and seal it.
  7. The damaged vein is closed off, allowing healthy veins nearby to take over normal blood flow.
  8. Finally, the fiber and catheter are removed, and a small dressing is applied at the puncture site.
